Yesterday was quite a tiring day.... Cos see a lot of pple... hahah... so tired....In the early afternoon, dear and his dad came to pick me up. His dad drove us to Golden Mile then he alighted and we all 3 got out... A funi scene... His dad got out from driver seat, Dear got out from beside him and i got out from e behind seat. Then his dad went to the back seat to take things, Dear moved to the driver seat and I move to beside him... hahaha... all move at e same time... pple see sure funi one...
Then we proceeded to Bugis... To look for a present... and I bought e top at esprit... cost nearly $70 leh... duno why i like so much... maybe its e material ba.... ahhahaa... dear shld be able to understand... hehe
Proceed to SimLim's cos dear wanted to buy some CD Roms.. then ended up buyin a wireless keyboard and mouse too... dear u ah..... We went to Gio and ended up buyin more things... he bought a pair of berms and i a top... hahaha... And e spending doesnt stop here... Shall elaborate again...
On e way to Suntec, we saw the pple on the link bridge from Citylink to Suntec all crowded.. jammed wif pple... realli jialat... the pple kept on movin up e escalator but the pple on top at bridge jus wasnt moving... resulted in lots of pushin at the top of the escalator... realli jialat... we saw old pple and kids too... so dangerous... and wat were the security guards doin? Chattin at the bottom of the escalator like nobody's business.... Wat's wrong wif these pple? Haiz.... Do they onli react when sthin realli happen? duhz*
Met up wif Ah boy at suntec... luckily we managed to spot a nice lot near the exit...jus below carrefour... We had dinner at the foodcourt and wat a crowd there was... I like the mushroom soup from e western stall... but i m still daydreaming of my dad;s mushroom soup.... awwww*
Hurried over to the esplanade to catch the fireworks... But cos alot of pple, we settled down at the Marina Square compound... Not at the stairs but anor area... and it was a wonderful spot to catch the fireworks... We were fiddling wif the digi cam when dear complained tt he shld haf bought the tripod we saw at Bugis... hahaha... end up ah boy had to stretch himself on the floor whilst dear and i went to hunt for a tripod at MS. Finalli bought one at $25 and thanx god we bought it. The effect was quite different... Sorry dear for showin tt Wu2 Nai4 face when u suggested buyin e tripod... it was worth it... hehehee...
The fireworks onli started at ard 830pm... we waited for 45 mins before this... It was magnificent... the different sparks and colours and e way they came down... fabulous... managed to capture onli some on camera but it was better than nothing... Though the fireworks were nice but they onli lasted a while... say 5 mins... i asked dear... must all beautiful things last onli a while? haiz...
Ah boy was realli bu4 gan1 yuan4 tt it lasted onli for a while and he actualli called home to check... ahaha... but tt was tt... we had to go... but not before letting myself see the mani thousands of pple walkin together... So mani to gather jus for a few minutes of "grandulous" show...
Got ourselves some drinks before collectin e car... The way out was terrible... Jam... Jam at Carpark... Jam at exit.... Jam on e road... Jam on CTE... onli 5 mins or so of faster driving... couldnt sit still at all... tried cross leggin and slanted sitting.. hahaha........ buay tahan... Reach home after 1 hr plus of travellin... and plonk onto bed after my bath...
