02 Jan 2005, SundayToday's the 2nd day of year 2005. A new yr, n hopefully a better year for everyone.
The last few days of December 2004 didnt bring much good news to lots of pple. The tsunamis that struck on 26th Dec affected a lot of pple negatively. Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka n Thailand.. its realli heart-wrenching reading abt the situation in these countries online n on the newspaper... When i saw the video clips, i feel for the pple... Imagine u were there wif ur loved ones and u r safe... Just when u were reachin out to save ur love one, jus when ur hand is nearin his/hers, the wave swept him away... Realli... I believe it must be most devastatin... Just like e man in e clip.. =(
Many pple are doin their best to contribute to the relief programs. Some donate clothes, blankets while others contribute medicine and food. For me, i believe the most realistic and helpful channel of help will be by monetary means. I believe it will be the best as the affected countries will be able to purchase the things they need most effectively n efficiently. Logistics problems make it difficult for the relief agencies to export the donated items quickly enuff also... Yesterday there was an article abt a grp of guys wearin tees n slippers goin to SPH to contribute $200k. I applaud these pple. Luckily there are still wonderful caring pple on earth.... Seriously, i hope everything will be better soon....

Okie, shall tok abt wat happened so far to me for yr 2005. Counting down to yr 2005 was done on e phone wif dear, who unluckily had to perform duty on e eve of new yr... haha... And i got a pleasant surprise b4 tt... His mum msg me n wish me Happi New Yr... Uncle n auntie were goin out to countdown n so was Sam.. I feel happi... =) Dun ask me why... =)
Yesterday was New Yr.. 1st Jan 2005. Went to PS wif dear... caught the movie KungFu Hustle which was highly recommended by my colleague Raymond and said to be too far-fetched by my bro Jack. Overall, not bad lah... funni a lot... far-fetched? also a lot. Contradictin me? Veri... hahaa....
Bought a top from Gio. Black one of which i already had an identical one... hahaa.... That's me... =p Also bought loreal foundation for my mum... haven passed to her yet...
Goin to treat mum and the rest to dinner later. Supposedly for her bdae which wil be 2 days later. However due to certain circumstances, i aint allowed to say wat the actual reason was for. Haiz... Duno how to say.... Sad lah... Sad lah.... Bu xiang shuo le.... Zai Jian bloggy....
