Opps!Opps ! I got the distance wrong for the marathon thingy. Its not 45.duno km... but 42.195km! And the top few runners are from Kenya! hehe...~ Noted these mistakes when I was reading Xueting's "TODAY" yesterday evening...
Well, I am on half day off today.. Didnt realli wana take the off initially. However, due to the prolonged inhalation of paint.. I give up..yes.. give up.. There haf been some renovation works goin on for the past few days.. The smell of the paint got so intense yesterday I had to escape to the toilet several times jus for fresher air.. haha.. It was so bad that I got a terrible headache... If i were to work full day today, I think I will most prob go crazy from the smell! Hate the paint smell.. Cant they use those odourless paint? heheh..
Dear called jus now.. he's taking half day off too.. copycat.. Think he got jealous thinkin tt I am on off..
Oh ya actualli I wanted to blog yesterday.. but was too tired.. I was thinkin abt childhood games cos the instant chrysanthemun tea I drank yesterday reminded me of sweetened water. My bro and I used to add sugar into miniature cups of water last time.. Hmm.. was it my bro or my cousin?? Well aniwae, we added the sugar into normal plain water.. It wasnt hot water.. so the taste is realli awful... Guess as a child, the novelty is enuff to keep us happy ba..
Then there was this phrase when we fold our thin mattress and put it at the doorways. Often, its shaped like a triangle or its curved to form a wall. When its shaped like a triangle, we will put blankets across it.. to form doors.. Pegs were sometimes used too! We can realli create lotsa mess... Oh ya.. this game i remember le.. i play with both Jack n Yenling.. When the matress is curved like a wall, we will bring our tidbits in and share.. lotsa fun!!
Then there was this story by Enid Blyton- "The Banana Robber"... inspirational.. haha.. we bought bananas and other tidbits to keep in one of our cupboard.. Gotta re-stock too okie? One of my most common phrase to use when i narrate the game was "Long long time ago.. there were 2 kids.. they were veri pitiful... they got no food n drinks..." (in chinese lah)... Duno why I like to make pitiful storylines one.. Even now.. Haiz...
One of these days, I will try to upload a photo of our teddy bear collection... We got a huge collection wor.. I still remember taking "Quan jia fu" of the bears.. such fun... Each bear has their own names okie? hiaz... childhood memories.. Life was so carefree last time.. I dun even remember a day of stress... No not even studies.. I cant even remember studying for my PSLE! Wonder how i pass then..
Now? Everyday, every action will haf an impact. A minor step into a messy puddle of water may jus leave u horrible stains, unerasable.. Tsk tsk.. That's where the phrase comes in "With greater role, there's increased responsibilities"... Wahhh.. I wana be a kid again!!!
