Hah! Its 29/10/07 today... my birthday!!!And its Monday!!! haha.. I escaped the monday blues!
Well aniway this entry shall be dedicated to my 24th bday celebration!! beware its long!!
Friday
We met up in the evening at Chinatown.. Since its gonna be a long weekend for me, I just couldnt resist asking him if I can have a 4 day bdae celebration.. I am glad I did asked cos i have quite a few surprises over the next few days.. haha.. At the train station, I demanded to search his bag for my present.. I was really really curious on what he will buy for me mah.. so trying my luck, I digged thru his bag.. but found NotHinG.. sadz.. We had dinner at Bugis and shopped shopped a bit before proceeding home.. Simple friday evening.. =)
Saturday
He was supposed to bring his Munchkins Game over after frisbee. *btw, he's mad abt Munchkins.. =p* He handled me the box but it was really Yenling who opened the box to check out the game.. Surprise No.1 found! The guy actualli bought me a top and it was in the box!! And it was actually in his bag the previous day but I couldnt find it!!!! Your heart must be pumping super hard ah dear?! =p And so I changed into the top and we left for ViVocity after his game of Munchkhins with Yenling.. Shopping wasnt realli necessary there cos dear had already done my shopping for me there the previous day.. Yes he bought the top from Vivo.. alone.. So its realli weird for him.. As in to go into all the ladies apparal stores and look for a top when all the other shoppers are females... Thank you dear!!
We had dinner at his choice of Asian Kitchen, followed by choc cookies shopping at Candy Empire before heading for our movie. And this is where the 2nd surprise awaits.. He suggested going to the washroom after we left Candy empire. I was ok with it and just as we turned towards the washroom I saw a FAMILIAR SIDEVIEW turning hastily behind a wall wor ..
"Wo hao xiang kan dao Yuefen leh" I said.. ( I think I saw Yuefen leh)
"huh? wei shen mo Yuefen ye hui zhai ze le?" he mumbled.. (huh? how come Yuefen also here?)
As we walked nearer, I couldnt help but feel odd.. Just as we turned into where Yuefen "disappeared into", I was faced with Yuefen and Jasmine both grinning.. The 3 of them's acting wasnt fantastic and I soon figured out the whole thing..
Turns out the 2 of them was supposed to give me a surprise at Asian Kitchen but the timing went all wrong!! All thanks to the lag in smses between dear and yuefen!! haha.. Poor gals had to hide in the foodcourt to avoid being spotted by me cos they couldnt find out where were we!!! And they didnt want to call dear cos they were afraid that I would discover the plan! so funni!!! And every little things just fall into place.. Like the smses he was sending but just wont let me know.. and the stomach pain go toilet (actualli to call yuefen but no reception in the toilet!!).. and the looking everywhere whilst eating at the Asian Kitchen... And finally the "I am at Vivocity.. Oh at Candy Empire.." <-- I was thinking how come must tell the caller we are at Candy Empire when just Vivo will do.. but the different chocs and sweets just threw this tot off my mind.. Even though there were a few hiccups but nevertheless, it was really a pleasant surprise.. Thanks director and actresses for the surprise~! We accompanied the poor gals for dinner at Superdogs where they once again practiced the routine of writing the birthday card in front of me.. But this time round, I wrote a msg for myself too.. And so did dear.. Oh ya I got a wallet from them! Sweetz!!! Just what I needed! The evening ended with a really funni movie Stardust and some stupid photo posing esp at the Asian Kitchen entrance before dear sent all of us home..
Sunday
Woke up feeling realli lethargic and cranky and we didnt managed to go badminton playing as was planned the previous day. Instead I spent the early afternoon watching this movie called "DrumLine" or sthing which was kinda interesting.. Dear came around 3pm?? and we watched extreme makeover home edition! Yeah yeah!! Time pass fast and it was time to go AMK for crabs! Dear, me, dad, mum and Jack!! Though we waited for an hour plus for the table and food, it was all worth while cos the crabs are realli delicious.. Love the Beehoon crab soup! Sweet like like... like duno wat. Didnt managed to take any decent photos cos we were too busy eating... hehe.. I am glad everyone enjoyed the meal..
Back home another surprise awaits!! We were checking out the 4D results and dear passed me the slip of paper saying "ying gai me you" (should be dun haf)... I tot so too until I spotted identical numbers both on the screen and on the little piece of white and pink paper in my hands.. "wei sheng me mei you? you ah!" (why dun haf? got ah!) No response from him... I tot my eyes were playing trick so I double checked again and again and i repeated my words.. Dear finally responded and BINGO!!! a win of a $1 bet.. haha.. We had enough to cover the crab dinner expenses and a bit of left over.. So heng... And the amazing thing is the number was given by me to dear whilst I was talking on the phone to him last week.. He was talking abt a number he was goin to buy and I just mumbled 4 digits randomly to him whilst I was half asleep.. =) hehe.. Try asking me again next time okie?
The day's surprises didnt end there.. Boy was I glad.. I love surprises.. We were playin Munchkins in my room and as usual I was losing.. I was still at level 1 when he was far ahead at level 6 or 7.. Something at the back of my mind tells me something is wrong somewhere in my room.. hahahha.. OKie okie exaggerating.. But realli something's not rite in my room and I was realli couldnt sit still throughout the game.. My eyes drifted to the dressing corner where all the barang barang like lotions and make ups etc were and I sensed something amiss!! hehe.. The face mask which was not at the edge of the table just now was put back by me to its original spot! And I was not the one who initially left it on the edge of the table!! Something's not right!!! I practically jumped up and hahahaha!!! I found a present hidden in the corner!!!!! Dear refused to continue the game anymore cos I thwarted his surprise again! hahaha... You cant hide anything from me dear!! I opened the gift only after 12am and it was a lovely bottle of Gucci perfume.. Muack darling! A new scent.. just wat I needed..
Monday
Actual birthday. Nothing much happened on this particular day. Had lunch with dear before he left for school.. I self entertained myself at home.. And took a realli wonderful nap. Really should catch up on my sleep.. Dreaded pimples are popping up everywhere! Dinner was curry chicken by Mum and both dear and me stuffed ourselves fat from that. All in all, a relaxing monday... Happy Birthday to myself!
