Somehow.. duno how.. the water tank for our blk went empty...
And so there was no water for the whole blk for like erm... hmm... I didnt take note of the time just now.. I guess.. erm.. 1 hr plus ba.
Mum was washing dishes and she was wondering aloud to us why the water flow was so light.

"ya lor.. just now I wash my hands also like tt.." I replied..

"sekali no more water le ah" I added..

Then I proceed to tell Pei Pei abt how we used to have those drills where there were "water cut-offs" and we had to do downstairs to collect water with pails. I remembered going down once with grandma.. I brought alone a kettle cos there was no small pails for me. =p

To my amusement, mum began filling up the kettle to boil some water and then drip ..drip.. no more water!

I burst out laughing.. "you mei you huan shui dian fei??"

All of a sudden, I felt really thirsty. That's extreme I guess. =p

A check with our cousin next door revealed that our whole blk was facing the same situtation.

Good thing was.. I had just finished my bathe. =) haha...

And so there was some commotion.. you know the usual aunties.. "eh you got water not ah?" .. "i also dun have leh!!"..

Yenwei and I were wondering wats the number to call.. to call water supply or town council..
Then Pei Pei shoved us the newspaper and pointed out to us the number to call for water supply.
I didnt know the papers provide such numbers!!
And we were amused that Pei Pei actually noticed this pc of info!

And so I called water supply who directed me with a number for town council.. and who directed me with yet another direct number for yishun town council. Turn out someone has also called them already. good good.

So whilst waiting for the water to resume, Irine, Pei Pei and I kept ourselves entertained with tots of "pple washing hair and suddenly no water" etc. We lafed so hard that I was practically lying on the floor. Come to think of it, its kinda bad lafing eh? =(

Luckily the water is restored. I was thinking of wat to do tomorrow morning if there is no water to bathe. Water is precious!
