14th August was my last day at the bank. Had mixed feelings on that day.
Glad to leave for a career change but sad to leave my wonderful colleagues.
The memories we shared aint replaceable.
Its not as if everything was smooth sailing.. not as if everything was all smiles and laughters.
But it is all those memories and experiences, good and bad, that allowed me to grow throughout the five & a half year stay there. I have learnt and gained a lot there. And all these are not possible without the wonderful colleagues.

Still remember my first day at AMK br on 3rd Feb 04. The first person I spoke to was Kanita. She looked so serious and fierce looking. As time pass, realised that she is such a fun person to be with. Raymond was my shi fu. The crappy but fun "mentos" colleague. Laura the gentle lady. Betty Boo the strict but great teacher. TPG the SDB in charge who kept passing stuff to me. haha.. Good in a way cos I learnt more things too. Yvonne Chua whom I learnt abt the sales process from. And so many other colleagues like Susan Lim, Susan Han, Siew Fong, Angeline, Serene, Soo Fern, Ginelle, Emily, Laywee, Jovan, Andy, Wei Chye etc etc whom taught me stuff in one way or another.
A great change came when my role as Sales Support Officer was centralised at SWB. That was on 10th Oct 05. When I first met up with my team 3 colleagues, I was secretly forming my own impression of them. Bee Geok-Fierce and unfriendly. Cynthia & Joanne- Super friendly. Grace- Unfriendly. Hilary- Happy go lucky. Suat Teng- Friendly. But as time pass, everyone got along so well and the bond was very strong in the team. Dont judge a book by its cover... this was wat I learnt.=) Miss those days.... We had such fun and laughter. No wonder our boss Kim like our team so much. hahaha.. i think ba.. Cos when the group was restructured, most of us at team 3 was actually assigned critical roles. Going to bhb a bit here.. Bee, Cyn and I were also offered positions in the area office but we declined. We love team 3 too much to leave them. It was also during this period of time that Kim promoted me in rank. This recognition though unexpected, was very important to me. It spurred me on to perform even better.
Then there was the time when a "flood" occurred at SWB. Thanks to some air con pipes bursting. It was both horrible and fun. Still remembering wading in the knee height water with the rest.. trying to make sure all the boxes were "saved". Everyone cooperated with great teamwork. I like!
Memories at Hong Lim was just as great. We shifted here in year 2007??... gosh I cant remember! But anyway, we had fun exploring the new place. Lots of new places to eat.. and more shopping can be done during lunch. But it is over here that I realised team 3 was really starting to lose its members.. Suat Teng resigned whilst we were at SWB, Joanne left us for a change in role, Grace resigned, Cyn transferred and subsequently got retrenched... Leaving only Bee, Fang and Me. But it was also over here that my frenship with colleagues like Rei, Sharon, Shirley, Carole etc grew. There there was Allan (Ali) whom I kept bullying. haha.. And my lover Farha..... So many things happened there. So many teething issues with each change, the High Notes issue which "brought us" the days of dust and boxes. Somehow felt that there is a clash in my sheng cheng ba zhi and the hong lim office. Things were not as smooth sailing. Bad news came to find me whilst I was in there. Mum fell ill and there were visits to the hospital for checks ups, one of my favourite aunt pass away... my meow me came into my life but left abruptly.
Had a lovely time snapping shots with the colleagues on 13th & 14th Aug. But what I really wish for was a group photo of the whole CSO team... but sad to say it aint possible with the 50plus people all hard at work. Though I doubt anyone in office erm.. I mean ex-office.. knows abt the existence of this blog, I will still like to thank them for the wonderful presents and treats here. Ate so many rounds of good food that I felt so heavy during the last week!

So as I leave this office for a post in MOE, I bring along with me the wonderful memories and experiences. Truely hope that I will be able to thrive in the new position. Canteen food here I come!
